The President of PTI who is in Zaman park to attend the party meeting has questioned the urgency behind the attempts to arrest Imran Khan.


Lahore: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) President Chaudhary Pervaiz Elahi said the incumbent government did not have powers to arrest Imran Khan.
“The whole PML-N family sitting in London does not have power to arrest Imran Khan,” said Chaudhary Pervaiz Elahi while talking to the reporters outside the residence of Imran Khan in Zaman Park on Sunday.
He said that people who were coming Saudi Arabia after performing Umra said that everybody there was praying for the safety and security of Imran Khan.
He also questioned the efforts of the police for arresting the PTI Chief, saying that “What has happened to Rana Sanaullah? Why there is much urgency now?,”.
The former Punjab Chief Minister said that Imran Khan earlier appeared before the courts and he would also appear this time again.
He stated that the workers were huge in numbers who had gathered outside the residence of Imran Khan, so nobody could dare to arrest him.
“The workers are more in numbers than the police,” said Chaudhary Pervaiz Elahi.
Chaudhary had reached there to hold meeting with Imran Khan and other PTI leaders to discuss the prevailing the political situation in the country.
