Court had summoned Maryam on the appeal of Jamat-e-Islami (JI) District Ameer.

Gujranwala: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Chief Organizer and Senior Vice-President Maryam Nawaz Tuesday failed to appear in District and Sessions court on the charge of allegedly cutting trees and missing swings from Ghulam Hussain Park during the PML-N’s workers' convention in Gujranwala.
Additional District and Session Judge of Gujranwala had summoned Maryam and other PML-N leaders on the appeal of Jamat-e-Islami (JI) District Ameer.
The court had been adjourned till 3pm for final verdict if the First Information Report (FIR) should be lodged in the case or not.
It is pertinent to note that earlier on March 3, the workers’ convention of the party was held in Gujranwala, which was addressed by Maryam Nawaz.
