Govt will provide free flour to downtrodden sections of society during Ramazan
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has said that the Prime Minister said in the first phase, free flour will be provided to the underprivileged people of Punjab.


Islamabad: The federal Government said on Tuesday that it would provide free flour to downtrodden sections of society during the holy month of Ramazan.
A special Ramazan package to this effect was approved at a meeting chaired by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in Lahore today.
Addressing the meeting, the Prime Minister said in the first phase, free flour will be provided to the underprivileged people of Punjab.
He directed authorities concerned to devise policy in this regard at the earliest.
Shehbaz Sharif said federal government will provide all-out support to other provinces to provide relief to the poor under Ramazan package on the model of Punjab.
The Prime Minister was given a detailed briefing by Punjab Chief Secretary Zahid Akhtar Zaman and Finance Secretary Mujahid Sher Dal regarding the special Ramazan package.
The meeting was also attended by Punjab Caretaker Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi and other high officials.
