Court of contempt case: Judge warns Imran of consequences for non-appearance
The court had been adjourned till 12:30 pm today.


Islamabad: District and Sessions court in Islamabad Monday warned that if Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan would not appear in the court today, non-bailable arrest warrant would be issued against him in threatening female judge Zeba Chaudhry case, GNN reported.
Civil Judge Rana Mujahid Rahim heard the case in the presence of Imran Khan’s lawyer Naeem Panjhota.
Imran’s lawyer submitted the application for his non-appearance in the court on the basis of security threats.
Responding to which judge Rana Mujahid stated that if he would not appear in the court than non-bailable arrest warrant will be issued against Imran.
Court has asked Imran to appear before court to submit the copies of the case which had been registered in Margala police station.
The court had been adjourned till 12:30 pm today.
