Islamabad: Pakistan has reported 4,318 Covid-19 cases and 118 deaths in one day as the third wave of the pandemic continued to rage across the country.

According to National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), around 4,318 cases of coronavirus were reported while 118 people succumbed to the disease in the last 24 hours, taking the total death toll to 15,619.
The total number of confirmed cases reached to 729,920.
As many as 6, 38,267 patients have recovered from the disease with 4,198 critical cases.
Punjab
The number of patients swelled to 252,974 in the province with 7,062 causalities.
Sindh
The number of infections has surged to 269,474 in the province, while the death toll has reached 4,530.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
The confirmed cases have surged to 1,00,275 in the province with 2,683 casualties.
Balochistan
There are 20,397 confirmed cases while 217 patients have died from the infection so far.
AJK and Gilgit-Baltistan
There are 14,687 coronavirus cases in the AJK while the death toll has reached 407. On the other hand, there are 5,130 cases in GB with 103 coronavirus deaths.
Islamabad
There are 66,983 cases in the capital city while 617 people have lost their lives.
