Security forces kill TTP terrorist in South Waziristan operation: ISPR
Rawalpindi: Security forces on Tuesday conducted an intelligence based operation (IBO) in Ladha, South Waziristan and killed an active Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) terrorist Pir alias Asad during the operation.
As per details, Pakistan Army media wing Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) issued a statement over IBO that was conducted by the Security Forces in South Waziristan on reported presence of terrorists.
During intense exchange of fire the TTP terrorist lost his life, says ISPR.
As per ISPR, the terrorist, Asad was an active member of TTP’s Baitullah Mehsud group since 2006 and was involved in terrorist activities against Security Forces.
Earlier in February , it was reported that security forces had killed three terrorists, from the 'Aleem Khan Khushali' group, during an IBO in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa's North Waziristan district.
