Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif is addressing the National Assembly session on Tuesday.

Speaking in the National Assembly, the Prime Minister said that last year we were in the opposition, different ideological parties decided that we should save the state. The coalition parties staked politics to save the state.

He stated that this constitution divided power between the institutions. It set a red line that no one will be able to cross this line, but the events of history are in front of all of us.

“Today the constitution is being seriously mocked, the current constitutional legislature and judiciary powers are being scattered,” said prime minister.

Referring to former Prime Minister Imran Khan and current unstable scenario in Pakistan, Shehbaz added that he is not appearing before any institution no matter how many notices he gets, he gets extensions in different courts in the dark of night.

The Prime Minister added: “Today Imran talks arrogantly and put the law and constitution in the trash, no one took notice, these are the conditions that brought Pakistan to this point”.

This is the same person who stormed the same Parliament, his followers hung dirty clothes outside the Supreme Court, he added.

He said that the agreement made with International Monetary Fund (IMF) as a result of PTI government was not done by me, the current government did not go against the promise.

“With great difficulty this coalition government tried day and night to save Pakistan from default,” he said adding that IMF is gradually withdrawing from us the guarantees that we are assuring.

Shahbaz Sharif said that the Finance Minister Ishaq Dar has completed all the conditions, now it is being asked to fulfil the commitments with friendly countries, we are also doing that.

Prime minister said that as a result of previous government, Pakistan's debts increased by 70% percent in four years.

We cannot describe the destruction he has done on the foreign front, how brotherly countries have been offended, we are stuck on what happened, he was a frivolous man, he did the same with China.

“Now the same Imran Niazi has hired lobbying companies in America, drama is being created against Pakistan, statements are being made from some people, what right do they have to interfere in the internal affairs of the country”, premier questioned.

The Prime Minister said that today there is division after division in the nation, but no one is going to question.

The law will take its course, enough is enough. Has anyone ever seen a scene where law enforcement officials go to do their legal duty, petrol bombs are thrown at them, their vehicles are set on fire, no one is there to ask.

He said that today Niazi is making terrorists his shield, and I am saying this with evidences as videos and pictures are available, terrorists are residing in his house, there is no one to watch.

Bails are being granted, never seen such a scene. The House is requested to take immediate notice of these matters.

Shehbaz Sharif added that the new Army Chief of Pakistan was elected on November 29, stating that “I want to say without fear of denial that I took this decision on merit with full consultation with my colleagues, cabinet and beyond”.

Whatever decision I have to take, I consult with the cabinet, other institutions should also go to the cabinet and take decisions.

He said that we decided to make General Syed Asim Munir as the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) and General Sahir as the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs.

“Yes, he is a professional, he got a sword of honor, his career is full of achievements, so is Army Chief Hafiz Quran”.

PTI trolls in London are using brutal language on the leadership of our forces. I couldn't think, who would be happier than India today, what else do our enemies want, I can't tell you how they talked about the martyrs of Lasbela. We cannot allow this, the House must take a concrete action on this before it is too late, the premier demanded.
