ATC grants relief to Imran in three cases
The bail has been granted till April 13.
Lahore: An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) in Lahore Tuesday granted bail to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan till April 13 in three terrorism cases registered against him.
According to details, Khan arrived at the ATC in strict security as the judges conditioned his bail to in-person appearance in the plea regarding an extension in the bail.
Earlier today, Imran Khan's lawyers filed a plea for immunity from appearing in the cases of vandalism, police violence and Zille Shah murder in the ATC Lahore.
The position was taken in the application that Imran is in Lahore, however he cannot appear due to security threats, the court should approve the application for one day's attendance exemption.
The judge said: “In case of non-appearance, a decision will be taken according to the law, whoever comes to the court will get the relief”.
