Iman Ali reveals about her illness ‘Multiple Sclerosis’
The disease can be lifelong, sometimes causing severe disability, although it is sometimes mild.


Karachi: The famous Pakistani actress, former model and elder daughter of later actor Abid Ali— Iman Ali revealed about the disease ‘Multiple sclerosis’— a condition that can affect the brain and spinal cord with many symptoms such as vision problems, difficulty in hands of legs movement, and problem with speech etc.— she had been suffering from.
The disease can be lifelong, sometimes causing severe disability, although it is sometimes mild.
Recently while talking in a program of a private channel, Iman said that it has become very difficult for her to give interviews as she cannot speak properly due to her illness.
Talking about the disease she Ali stated: “I have multiple sclerosis (MS) which never goes away, you have to get used to living with it,” adding that it is very difficult to explain this disease, everything happens in it, my vision goes away, I cannot walk, it has been a year and a half now and my hands are not working, as if they are numb.
“I am taking it as a challenge, just don't take it to your nerves, there are many diseases that are not visible,” the actress revealed.
Iman also said that it is very difficult for me to give an interview because I cannot speak frequently as the words get are mixed while talking.
“I forget the words, like if there is a table, I will ask my mother what it is that we sit on and eat, that's why I try not to pay much attention to it and keep joking with people,” Iman Ali explained.
