The PM said that the three-member bench did not hear the political parties despite that they repeatedly asked the court to allow them to be part.
The PM said, “what hearing took place is before all of you,” adding that the judges who recused were also not discussed.
He stated that another resolution would be presented in the parliament which hopefully would be accepted.
“Under the verdict, the federal government has to provide funds to the ECP on April 10,” said the PM, adding that the ECP was bound to submit report on April 17.
The PM said that the federal government was also directed to provide security to the ECP for elections.
“KP was allowed to go to the high court and to the relevant departments. So this is the crux of the verdict,” said the PM, adding that they held meeting earlier and called this meeting again to deliberate the situation.
PM Shehbaz Sharif said that they called this meeting so that the public could know what the joke is being done with the law and the Constitution.
He stated that a solid thing of the coalition government would come out in the given situation,.
