PTI chief to interview candidates for Punjab polls
PTI Chief Imran Khan will directly interview the candidates of the provincial constituencies of Punjab.
Lahore: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan Thursday decided to interview candidates contesting elections in Punjab before issuing party tickets, GNN reported.
According to details, the candidates of the provincial assembly from PP1 to PP50 that includes Attock, Bhakkar, Jhelum, Khushab and other districts have been called for interviews on the first day.
PTI Chief Imran Khan will directly interview the candidates of the provincial constituencies of Punjab.
As soon as the interviews of all the candidates are completed, the final announcement of the tickets will also be made.
Imran Khan will directly evaluate the eligibility of the candidate himself. The feedback of the party leaders and workers will also be considered. The party leadership had already been informed about the shortlisted candidates for all the constituencies.
