Sugar price continues to shoot up in different cities
Sugar prices have increased across all the provinces of Pakistan.
Lahore: The price of sugar continues to increase in different cities of the country.
In Faisalabad, the price of one kg of sugar has settled at Rs130 to Rs135 after an increase of Rs40.
The price of sugar in Hyderabad has increased by Rs20, whereas in the wholesale market of Karachi, sugar has gone up to Rs120, while in retail it has reached Rs130 per kg.
On the other hand, in Peshawar, one kg of sugar has settled at Rs131 after an increase of Rs25 in a week.
In Quetta, one kg of sugar is being sold at Rs125 and in the suburbs at Rs130 per kg.
