Lahore: Lahore High Court (LHC) Friday granted protective bail to former Prime Minister Imran Khan till April 26 in the case registered against him in Ramna police station Islamabad, GNN reported.
According to details, Imran Khan filed an application stating that he had been booked under serious provisions including treason, being subjected to political vendetta.
“I have been targeted for political revenge,” he said adding that court should grant anticipatory bail and provide adequate time to approach the competent court.
Justice Ali Baqir Najfi heard the security appeal of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman and approved protective bail till April 26.
