The PTI leaders say the Sindh police have arrested Ali Haider Zaidi without any arrest warrants.


KARACHI: The police took Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Ali Zaidi into custody, the footages surfaced on the social media showed on Saturday.
The police conducted raid of the party’s Sindh office and shifted him to some unknown place. It is, however, not clear yet that under which case Zaidi was taken into custody.
The footages went viral on the social media showed the senior police officials taking Zaidi to a van parked outside the party’s office. There were few number of PTI workers when the police reached there.

PTI leader Farrukh Habib said that “The Sindh police arrested the party’s provincial president Ali Haider Zaidi from the party’s Sindh office,”.

The police also did not issue any statement regarding arrest of Ali Haider Zaidi.
The PTI leaders including former Sindh Governor Imran Ismail condemned the arrest of Ali Haider Zaidi, saying that it was highly condemnable.
Fawad Chaudhary said that Ali Haider Zaidi was arrested without any prior notice and said that they rejected the system of injustice PTI Sindh spokesperson said that the police took the phones of the people present.
