PM calls federal cabinet meeting again
The meeting will also consult about the release of funds regarding elections in Punjab.
Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif summoned an important meeting of federal cabinet today (Monday) at 2:30 pm, GNN reported.
According to details, the meeting will take place at parliament house which will discuss the matters undergoing in Supreme Court of Pakistan.
The meeting led by Prime minister will also consult about the release of funds regarding elections in Punjab.
The legal team of government will brief the participants about court affairs. Important political and economic issues will also considered in the meeting today.
It is pertinent to note that after the approval of ‘Supreme Court Practice and Procedure Bill 2023’ by Parliament regarding reducing the powers of Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP), Supreme Court has ordered that this bill will not be effective, nor in any way will be implemented.
