Islamabad: Chief Justice Pakistan (CJP) Umer Atta Bandial met high military officials in his chamber in Islamabad, GNN reported quoting sources.
According to details, the meeting discussed the issue of security for election in Punjab on May 14.
The meeting was also informed about the security situation of the country.
Director General (DG) military operations and secretary defense were present in the meeting. Justice Ijaz-ul-Ahsan and Justice Muneeb Akhtar were also present in the chamber of chief justice during the meeting.
Sources stated that the meeting continued for more than one hour.
