Sindh police issue security plan for Eid-ul-Fitr
9,825 security personnel will perform duties in Karachi.
Karachi: Sindh Police has issued a security plan for citizens to safely perform Eid prayer and smooth movement of matters in the province on the religious event of Eid-ul-Fitr.
According to Inspector General (IG) Sindh Ghulam Nabi Memon, there are 4,242 worship places to offer Eid prayers in Karachi where 9,825 security personnel will perform duties out of total 33,560 officers in Sindh.
IG Sindh said that 8,222 personnel will be deployed in Hyderabad, 1690 in Mirpur Khas and 3013 cops will be engaged for security duty in Shaheed Benazarabad.
Whereas 6,811 in Larkana and 4000 will perform security duties in Sukkur.
