PM Shehbaz wins vote of confidence in NA
180 members of the assembly expressed their confidence in Prime Minister.
Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehabz Sharif Thursday won the vote of confidence in National Assembly, GNN reported.
According to details, 180 Members of National Assembly (MNAs) expressed their confidence in Prime Minister.
Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and foreign minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari presented the resolution to which 180 MNAs voted yes, as opposed to 174 when Shehbaz was elected as the prime minister in April 2022.
Reportedly, Shehbaz Sharif consulted the coalition parties at the lunch today after which he decided to take the vote of confidence.
The allied members of the assembly advised him to take a vote of confidence stating that they have full confidence in him and can take a vote of confidence from the house anytime.
