Lahore: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan Saturday said that it is a pity that in inhumane acts, government has now closed most Panahgahs [shelters] and targeted health card scheme too.
Imran Khan shared a video of shelters designed for labors and homeless people during his government and wrote, I felt humbled when I visited a Panahgah [shelters].
PTI chief stated: “Laborers being served a meal with dignity and sleeping in warm beds rather than on footpaths in bitter cold”.
He said: “I had an unprecedented experience of wonder and satisfaction”.
Former Prime Minister stated that as soon as they are elected, they will reopen these shelters, God willing.
