Karachi may receive light rain, thunderstorm today evening: PMD

Karachi: Karachi may experience light rain and thunderstorms from this evening until tonight, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD).

The PMD also forecasts that the breeze will return to Karachi from this evening onwards, and there is no further chance of rain in the city on Tuesday and Wednesday. The weather advisory further suggests that Karachi will experience hot weather for the next two days after today's light rainfall. On Saturday night, light to moderate rain fell in different parts of the city, making the weather pleasant for Karachiites.

The citizens have been advised to take necessary precautions and avoid unnecessary travel during rainy weather.

Areas such as Azizabad, Federal B Area, Orangi Town, Sarjani Town, and North Nazimabad experienced light to moderate rainfall.
