PTA unblocks social media sites after four hours
Islamabad: The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has unblocked blocked all social media sites in the country after four hours.

According to details, a temporary ban was imposed on Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, WhatsApp and YouTube from 11am till 3pm. The services have been restored now.
The action was taken after a letter was sent to the PTA chairman by the interior ministry. The decision was taken to maintain law and order situation in the country following violent protests by Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP).
It is pertinent to mention here that internet service was suspended in some areas of Lahore on Thursday as well due amid protest and citizens faced problems due to the suspension of internet.
