Islamabad: Islamabad High Court (IHC) Friday ordered to not arrest Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan till May 17 in any new case. The court has also approved his bail in all cases, GNN reported.

The court ordered that the verdict is applicable till the premises of Islamabad.

Court has also approved interim bail of Imran Khan for two weeks in National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Al-Qadir Trust case.

According to details, two-member bench comprising Justice Mian Gul Hasan Aurangzeb and Justice Saman Rifat Imtiaz heard the case and gave its verdict to approve his bail for 14 days.

The court inquired NAB that petitioner was in your custody for two days how much investigation was done?

Justice Gul Hassan remarked that both parties should come prepared for next hearing.

The court has barred the police from arresting Imran Khan. However, Rangers have taken the charge of court room from all sides.

Notices has also been issued to NAB on the request of Bushra Bibi for not getting the inquiry report.

During the hearing, Imran Khan's lawyer Khawaja Haris argued on the application for protective bail that we were filing the bail application when the arrest took place.

Haris said that it is necessary to share the inquiry report under the NAB Amendment Act, if the inquiry report had been given, we would have challenged it.

On this Justice Hasan inquired if the inquiry report was not given to them. Khawaja Haris replied that no inquiry report was given before the arrest.

The court inquired when this inquiry turned into an investigation. Khawaja Haris replied that according to NAB, the inquiry was changed to investigation on April 28.
