Islamabad: Pakistan has reported over 100 deaths in one day as the third wave of the pandemic continued to rage across the country.

According to National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), around 54,967 cases of coronavirus were reported while 112 people succumbed to the disease in the last 24 hours, taking the total death toll to 16,094.
The total number of confirmed cases reached to 750,158.
As many as 654,956 patients have recovered from the disease with 4,149 critical cases.
Punjab
The number of patients swelled to 264,010 in the province with 7,333 causalities.
Sindh
The number of infections has surged to 271,524 in the province, while the death toll has reached 4,544.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
The confirmed cases have surged to 104,480 in the province with 2,832 casualties.
Balochistan
There are 20,760 confirmed cases while 223 patients have died from the infection so far.
AJK and Gilgit-Baltistan
There are 15,304 coronavirus cases in the AJK while the death toll has reached 428. On the other hand, there are 5,174 cases in GB with 103 coronavirus deaths.
Islamabad
There are 68,906 cases in the capital city while 631 people have lost their lives
