Islamabad: The release of Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Vice Chairman of PTI, has faced a delay due to his ongoing reluctance to provide an undertaking pledging to refrain from participating in 'unruly' protests.
Islamabad High Court (IHC) Judge Miangul Hassan Aurangzeb nullified Qureshi's detention order and requested the undertaking, urging caution and non-involvement in violent activities.
Qureshi's daughter had filed a petition challenging the detention order issued by the district magistrate under the Maintenance of Public Order.
