First Hajj flight carrying 316 Pakistani Pilgrims lands at Madinah Munawara
Director General Hajj, Abdul Wahab Somroo, Director Hajj and other officials of Pakistani Hajj Mission welcome the pilgrims at the airport in the holy city.
Madinah Munawara: The first Hajj flight carrying 316 Pakistani Pilgrims landed at the airport of Holy city Madinah Munawara on Sunday.
The latest reports suggested that thepilgrims arrived through the PIA National Flag Carrier, PK 773.
At the airport, the Pakistani Pilgrims were welcomed by Director General Hajj, Abdul Wahab Somroo, Director Hajj and other officials of Pakistani Hajj Mission.
They also distributed gifts and bouquets among the arriving pilgrims.
Gifts were also distributed by Saudi Authorities among Pakistani Hajj pilgrims at Madinah Munawara Airport.
The pilgrims expressed satisfaction over facilities provided by Pakistani and Saudi authorities at immigration desk and for their transportation.
They also appreciated the services provided by Pakistani Moavineen at Madinah Airport and the training programs offered by the Ministry of Religious Affairs.
899 other Pakistani are also arriving in Madinah today through Serene and PIA airlines from Lahore, Faisalabad and Karachi.
Earlier in the day, Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah urged the intending pilgrims to play their role in further enhancing country's prestige and dignity.
He was speaking at Faisalabad airport while seeing off the first hajj flight from the city to Saudi Arabia on Sunday.
The Federal Interior Minister urged the pilgrims to comply with the directions of Saudi authorities during their stay to make their hajj hassle free.
The Minister said the government has provided maximum facilities to the pilgrims.
He said that Pakistan International Airlines will airlift 3500 intending plagiarism from Faisalabad to the holy land through twenty two flights.
