Earlier in the day, the Islamabad High Court (IHC) ordered the authorities to release the PTI vice-chairman after he submitted an affidavit.
Musarrat Jamshed Cheema, another leader of the PTI who decided to quit the party, was also taken into custody soon as she came out of Adiala jail.
Shireen Mazari, the senior PTI leader, who was arrested for the fourth time, quit politics and said that her children, mother and her own health would be the top priority.
The development took places after the riots against the arrest of former Prime Minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan in Al-Qadir Trust.
