PTI leader Asad Umar seeks protective bail from Islamabad high court.

Islamabad: Asad Umar, a prominent PTI leader, has filed a petition in Islamabad High Court (IHC) for bail for a period of two weeks.
The bail application is against the case registered in Lahore following the vandalism that took place on May 9.
Umar, along with PTI chairman Imran Khan and other senior party members, was named in the case filed by Gulberg police.
The charges against them include terrorism, murder, and robbery.
In his petition, Umar asserts that he is a law-abiding citizen and denies any involvement in the alleged offense.
He claims that the case against him is completely false and baseless, with the prosecution and police having malicious intentions.
According to the plea, the complainant has deliberately implicated Umar in order to harass and defame him, thereby damaging his reputation, which he holds in high regard.
