Dubai: Asif Ali Zardari, the former President of Pakistan and Co-Chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), on Sunday traveled to Dubai for a medical check-up, according to reliable sources.
Accompanied by his daughter Bakhtawar Bhutto-Zardari and other family members, Asif Ali Zardari departed from Lahore and reached Dubai. The purpose of his visit is to undergo a medical examination, specifically related to his eyes.
It is anticipated that Asif Ali Zardari will remain in Dubai for a brief period, ranging from two to three days, before returning to Pakistan. This visit follows a previous eye operation that the former president had undergone, necessitating follow-up consultations and assessments.
The sources said that the all party meetings were cancelled after the party co-chairman suffered from the eye problem.
