Police officials stated that the passenger bus was on the way to Islamabad from Pakpattan.


Faisalabad: In an unfortunate incident, five people were killed, while four sustained the injuries as a tractor trolley and a bus collided in Satiana Bangla, area of Faisalabad.
According to details, police and rescue teams immediately reached the spot soon after getting the information.
Police officials stated that the passenger bus was on the way to Islamabad from Pakpattan.
Rescue teams shifted the bodies of the killed people to hospital, while the injured were also taken to the hospital for quick treatment. Two of the injured have been reported in criticial condition.
The victims have been identified as Anwar Hussain, Yasin, Muhammad Mushtaq, Zubair and Tariq--conductor of the bus.
According to Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Maqsood Ahmed, the area is of Punjab Highway Patrolling Police (PHP). CTO also stated that the accident occurred allegedly due to sleepiness of the bus driver. However police cordoned off the area for investigation.
