Prabhu Deva welcomes baby girl, embracing fatherhood at 50

Mumbai: Renowned actor and director Prabhu Deva has announced the arrival of his newborn baby girl with his second wife, Dr. Himani Prabhu.

The actor marks Prabhu Deva’s embrace of fatherhood at the age of 50.

Confirming the news to Indian media, Prabhu Deva expressed his joy, saying, "Yes! It is true. I am a father again at this age. I feel very happy and complete."

He shared his decision to reduce his workload to spend more quality time with his family.

Prioritizing his loved ones, he explained, "I have already cut down on my workload. I felt I was doing too much work, just running around. I am done with that. I want to spend some time with my family."

Having been previously married to Ramlatha, Prabhu Deva is already a father to three sons.

Unfortunately, one of his sons passed away in 2008 due to a brain tumor, while the other two sons are healthy and reside with their mother.
