Nawaz Sharif received a duplicate copy of his Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree.


Lahore: Punjab University (PU) has recently issued duplicate degree to Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
The officials stated that Nawaz Sharif completed a Bachelor of Arts (BA) from PU as a student of Government college university (GCU) in 1968.
According to an anonymous official from the Punjab University’s examination branch, Nawaz Sharif applied for a duplicate degree through a representative.
The required fee of Rs2,990 was deposited on June 7.
Subsequently, the duplicate degree was processed and granted to the former Prime Minister.
This incident has garnered attention and raised questions about the purpose behind obtaining a duplicate degree at this particular time.
While the officials did not disclose the reason for the request.
