AJK budget for year 2023-24 to be presented today
It has been proposed to allocate Rs42 billion in the development projects.
Kashmir: The budget of Azad Kashmir for fiscal year 2023-24 will be presented in the Legislative Assembly today (Wednesday).
According to details, the total size of the budget for the financial year will be more than Rs232 billion.
It has been proposed to allocate Rs42 billion in the development projects, whereas 190 billion rupees for non-developmental projects.
In the development budget, 30 billion rupees will be obtained from the federal government and 12 billion rupees from its own resources.
A total of 69 billion rupees i.e. 47% has been increased in the budget compared to last year. Rs14.5 billion of the development budget will be spent on newspapers and magazines.
