One killed in gas cylinder explosion in Karachi
A fire tender took part in the process of extinguishing the fire and brought it under control, the police said.
Karachi: In an unfortunate incident, one person was killed when a gas cylinder exploded in a house in North Nazimabad area of Karachi.
According to the police, this incident took place in a house near Peoples Chowrangi where the house caught fire after explosion.
Police told that as soon as the information was received, police and fire brigade reached the spot and started the rescue operation.
A fire tender took part in the process of extinguishing the fire and brought it under control, the police said.
According to the preliminary information of police, the explosion in the house was caused by gas leakage. There was a computer parts office in the house where the security guard identified as Salman has been killed.
They told that houses adjacent to the office have also been damaged by the blast, and no evidence of the use of explosives was found in the blast.
