Islamabad: Judge Humayun Dilawar of Session Court Wednesday showed annoyance over non-appearance of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman from hearing of Tosha Khana case, GNN reported.
According to details, while communicating with PTI chairman’s lawyer, judge Humayun remarked: “You are criminal lawyer, have you ever witnessed that a case gets pending for seven months and the accused appeared only once for the hearing”.
The judge said that he was accepting the exemption from appearance due to plea filed in Islamabad High Court (IHC).
On the other hand, the cause list of Chief Justice Aamer Farooq of IHC was annulled due to health issues of the judge. The court was to hear the case filed by PTI chief against the verdict of session court.
