Lahore airport to remain closed for two months
The closure of the airport will be effective from July 15 till September 15.
Lahore: The runway of Allama Iqbal International Airport Lahore will remain closed for two months due to presence of excessive birds in the premises of airport.
According to details, the closure of the airport will be effective from July 15 till September 15.
The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has decided that airport will experience the closure in the wee hours of the day from 5:00am till 8:00am every day.
All the national and international airlines have been informed about the decision, however in case of emergency landing they will have to inform the Lahore airport 15 minutes prior to the landing to take the immediate action.
