JI emir prayed for elevation of ranks of departed soul

Lahore: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Emir Siraj-ul-Haq today condoled the demise of Alamgir Khan Tareen, the brother of Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP) patron-in-chief Jahangir Khan Tareen.
Siraj paid a visit to the IPP chief's home and expressed his condolences for the passing of his brother Alamgir. The JI emir prayed for the deceased soul's ranks to be raised.
Meanwhile JI emir urged the current administration to put the needs of the people before wooing each other.
As per reports, police officials said that Alamgir also left a note in which he mentioned his illness.
However, his close friends stated that they were not aware of Alamgir's illness. The 63-year-old was engaged and set to get married in December.
Alamgir Khan Tareen on Thursday committed suicide by shooting himself at his residence. Police found him dead with a pistol and a suicide note he left at his Gulberg residence in Lahore.
The deceased was also the owner of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchise Multan Sultans.
