The cases shouldn't include political revenge, says Chaudhry Shafay.
Lahore: Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) leader Chaudhry Shafay Hussain stated on Wednesday that his party may team up with Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP) in the coming general elections.
Shafay informed the media that the PML-Q will take at least 20 seats with the PML-N. We brought up seat adjustment with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
Further he told about former Punjab chief minister Chaudhry Parvez Elahi, Shafay said, "PML-Q supremo Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain wants to see Chaudhry Parvez Elahi released from prison. The cases shouldn't include political revenge, he added.
Shafay claimed, " Besides PML-Q, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) also have a significant vote bank in Gujrat.
It is clear that his party will work politically with both the PML-N and PPP, he continued.
In the next elections, his party may team up with the IPP (Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party).
