New CM of GB to be elected today

Kashmir: The new Chief Minister of Gilgit Baltistan will be elected today (Thursday), GNN reported.

According to details, the names of four candidates have been appeared. Haji Gul Barkhan of Forward Block, Javed Manwan, Raja Azam and Raja Zikriya of Hum Khayal Group have submitted their nomination papers.

No member from Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) have submitted the nomination papers for the election of Chief Minister of Gilgit Baltistan as they boycotted the elections.

The election process will start at 12:00pm today. The nominees could withdraw their papers by 10:00am.
