Islamabad: The second spell of monsoon rainfall is set to arrive in the country as western winds make their way into Pakistan.
Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has issued an alert, forecasting monsoon showers from today until July 17.
According to the weather department, the monsoon rainfall is expected to improve the weather conditions in various regions of the country.
The intensity of the heat will decrease with the arrival of the second monsoon spell.
In the coming days, Punjab's weather is likely to improve significantly. The second spell of monsoon rainfall will bring relief from the scorching heat.
