ATC issues arrest warrant for PTI chief
The anti-terrorism court summoned PTI chairman and other accused in personal capacity on July 19.
Islamabad: Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) Islamabad Thursday issued bailable arrest warrant for Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman in the judicial complex attack case..
According to details, two cases were registered in Islamabad's Ramna police station and one in Golra police station against Chairman PTI and others.
An appeal for exemption from attendance in the cases registered in the Ramna police station was filed on behalf of former prime minister.
His lawyer, Sardar Bizhal Khan, said that PTI chief has to appear in Lahore High Court (LHC) today, therefore he cannot appear in Islamabad.
ATC Judge Abul Hasnat remarked that Chairman PTI will have to appear in court, issuing arrest warrants for Farrukh Habib, Shibli Faraz and Hassaan Niazi along with party chief in the judicial complex attack case.
