Lahore: PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz has said that she wants the PTI government to complete its five years as her party is not ready to bear the burden of the mistakes committed by the government.

In an exclusive interview with GNN, PML-N (Pakistani Muslim League Nawaz) Vice President Maryam Nawaz said that Imran Khan could not compete with former PM and PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif and President Shahbaz Sharif in the political arena. “So NAB and other institutions were used to keep him out of the field,”
Imran Khan is scared, he sees Shahbaz Sharif as his alternative, she thought while being furious in the interview.
The PML-N leader said that although Shahbaz Sharif's nature is different, he believes in Nawaz Sharif's line.
“I am now tired of answering the question related to PML-N’s narrative,”
If Shahbaz Sharif had betrayed his brother, he would have been the Prime Minister today, she claimed.
While lamenting the incumbent government, she said the government has been shaken while the incompetence is enough for the government to get an end as damage done to the government cannot be repaired now.
While talking about PDM and contacts with other opposition parties, Maryam Nawaz said that no contact has been made with PPP ( Pakistan Peoples Party) yet whoever Postponement of her visit to Karachi has nothing to do with Peoples Party.
She clarified that PPP is not her target as she knows her goals well.
“I do not want to blame each other while PPP had taken a stand to get votes from the ‘BAP’, however, what happened was bad and it shouldn't have happened,”
Ms Safdar further said that the members of Jahangir Tareen's group were in touch with PML-N as PTI (Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf) Parliamentarians have realized that they have to go to the constituencies as well and for this reason, they are distancing themselves from PM’s incompetency.
While speaking regarding South Punjab, she stated that “ the ‘Front’ is different, everyone knows what its origin was, PML-N supremo is against the role of the Establishment in forming and overthrowing governments.
“It is in our interest to form a government at the moment but it is a negation of our statement,”
The PML-N is not ready to bear the burden of the mistakes made by the government, she simplified.
Let the day come when PTI will now go to the polls with the same burden of mistakes as people are dying from Corona but the government is nowhere to be seen, she added.
Ms Nawaz further said that she cannot say that elections will be held in 2023, she just wants this government to complete its 5 years as PML-N will give not a single chance to the government—who did nothing in 3 years to become ‘Martyrs’,
“PTI has the potential to do nothing for 2 more years,” she taunted.
To spread disturbance in party lines and fake propaganda, opponents repetitively talk of Nawaz Sharif's return.
“Government could not tolerate former PM being politically active as they fear that if he becomes active in politics, Imran Khan and his selectors would not be seen anywhere,”
Referring to the government and agencies she said that Nawaz Sharif would no longer be in their influences and they would be left empty-handed.
