Ertugrul became famous because of mother-in-law daughter-in-law conspiracies: Yasir Nawaz
The comedy element is difficult in Pakistani drama because comedy is not easy: Yasir Nawaz

Karachi: Pakistani actor Yasir Nawaz says that the drama industry around the world shows content that women want to watch.
Recently, Yasir Nawaz along with his wife Nida Yasir participated in a web show where they both talked about the Pakistani drama industry.
Yasir Nawaz answered that it is quite difficult to make comedy dramas, and comedy has completely vanished from Pakistani dramas.
He further said the popular Turkish series Ertugrul Ghazi was popular because it showed mother-in-law, daughter-in-law conspiracy and romance more than wars.
Additionally, he said that Nida used to watch that drama and I used to watch it with her, I noticed that it wouldn’t have been so popular if there was no romance and mother-in-law's daughter-in-law problems in that drama.
