Vaccination for 40 above, walk-in for 50 plus open now, announces Asad Umar
Islamabad: Federal Minister for Planning and Development Asad Umar has announced that registration of coronavirus vaccination for citizens aged 40 plus will open from April 27.

Taking to twitter, the head of National Command and Operations Center (NCOC) said that decision has also been taken to allow walk-in vaccination of citizens age 50 above.
“In today's NCOC meeting decided to open up registration of 40 plus age citizens starting tomorrow. Also decision taken to allow walk in vaccination of all registered citizens of 50 plus age group. If you are 40 years or older please register and encourage others to register,” Asad Umar shared.

A special flight carrying half a million doses of coronavirus vaccine landed from China at Nur Khan Airbase on Saturday.
Pakistan witnessed slight decline in Covid-19 infections in a single day for the first time after a period of 10 days as 4,825 new positive cases were reported along with 70 deaths during last 24 hours.
According to National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), around 4,825 cases of coronavirus were reported while 70 people succumbed to the disease in the last 24 hours, taking the total death toll to 17,187.
The total number of confirmed cases reached to 800,452.
As many as 694,046 patients have recovered from the disease with 4,862 critical cases.
