Uttarkhand: In a terrible accident, 15 people have been died in strong explosion of transformer in the Indian state of Uttarakhand.
According to details, development work was underway in the town of Chamoli in the Indian state of Uttarakhand when a transformer fell near the sewage treatment plant. 15 people lost their lives due to this powerful explosion. Chamoli Police has confirmed the incident.
It has been told that first there was an explosion in the transformer and then people were hit by it. Rescue work has been started at the incident site. It is also being stated that the Namamiganga project is going on where the explosion took place.
Fifteen people have died due to electrocution including a police sub-inspector and three guards. However, an inquiry into the incident has been ordered.
