Washington: US has once again dismissed the allegations regarding the cypher as baseless.
The spokesperson of US State Department, Matthew Miller, while giving press briefing, said that he does not know how many times he has answered this question, each time he has given the same answer that these allegations are completely baseless.
He stated that once again, “America does not interfere in the internal politics of any country”.
It is pertinent to note that Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) made a narrative of conspiracy against his government based on the messages or cyphers of the Pakistani ambassador to the US, in which he claimed that US had a hand in the overthrow of his government.
In the meeting of National Security Committee, the stand of PTI government regarding the cypher has been rejected.
Apart from this, an audio leak of former prime minister and his former secretary Azam Khan regarding the cypher was revealed, in which he was heard saying, “Now we have only to play, not to name US, just play this”.
On top of that, this date was already there, to which Azam Khan replied that he was thinking that a meeting should be held over this cypher.
After that, the federal cabinet entrusted the investigation of the matter to Federal Investigation Agency (FIA).
Azam Khan was the principal secretary of the then Prime Minister and PTI chief during his and was considered very close to him.
