Shaniera Akram, the Australian social worker and wife of former Pakistan cricket captain Wasim Akram, took to Instagram to share some special moments from their journey as they celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary.
The beloved couple commemorated their 10th year of marriage yesterday.
On this special day, Shaniera shared a captivating selfie with Wasim Akram.
Despite having an Australian background, Shaniera gracefully embraced Pakistani culture.
In the caption, she wrote, "No makeup, no filters, no worries! Celebrating life, family, fresh air, good food, the sun, our children, and us, together for 10 years!"
Expressing her love for her followers, Shaniera hopes that the next 10 years of their lives will be just as amazing.
Rekindling the happy memories, Shaniera also shared a photo of herself dressed as a bride.
In the caption, she nostalgically said, "Feels like yesterday when I was becoming a bride and marrying the love of my life."
The love story between Wasim and Shaniera began in 2011 and blossomed into a beautiful marriage in 2013 in Lahore.
Together, they have a lovely daughter, while Wasim has two sons from his previous marriage.
