Atiq Riaz's lawyer said that his client was arrested due to following Sanam Javed case.
Lahore: Police also arrested Atiq Riaz, who is husband of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) social media activist Sanam Javed in Jinnah House attack case.
According to details, the Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) sent Atiq Riaz to jail for identification parade.
Police presented Sanam Javed's husband Atiq in ATC with his face covered and sought permission for the identification parade.
The court accepted the plea and sent Atiq Riaz to jail on six-day judicial remand for identification parade.
Atiq Riaz's lawyer said that his client was arrested due to following Sanam Javed case.
It is pertinent to note that PTI activist Sanam Javed is in jail in the May 09 arson case.
