Green bus and orange bus services will remain suspended across the city from today (Thursday) till Ashura.


Karachi: In view of the security arrangements for the Muharram procession in Karachi, the streets and roads leading to the passageways of the procession have been closed with containers.
The shops on the procession route have also been formally sealed while the bomb disposal squad will search the procession route.
Before the procession takes off, the passage will be completely closed and an alternative road will be provided for the traffic during the procession.
Apart from this, the coverage of drone cameras has been banned under Section 144.

On the other hand, due to containers placement on the passageways of the procession in Karachi, there is severe traffic jam in those areas due to narrow roads in MA Jinnah Road, Garden, Kharadar and the surrounding areas. People are facing serious problems while reaching the offices.
