Moscow: Destructive coastal cyclone wreaked havoc in Russia, resulting in trees being uprooted and claiming the lives of 10 people while leaving 76 others injured.

The central regions, located about 600 kilometers from Russia's capital, Moscow, were battered by the cyclonic winds and torrential downpours.

Various incidents during the cyclone led to the demise of ten individuals, including three children, and left 64 others wounded.

The storm's force caused trees to topple, crushing several vehicles in its path.

As a result of the cyclone, more than 100,000 people have been left without electricity due to fallen power lines, and over 50 buildings suffered damage.

Eugene Maslov, the Mayor of Yuzhkor Ola city, reported that the cyclone brought fatalities and injuries to the region.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations responded swiftly, with approximately 100 rescue workers clearing debris near a campsite close to Yalchik Lake.

Ministry revealed that the campsite near Yalchik Lake had several hundred people who had come for recreational activities during the turbulent weather.
