PM offers condolences to Shaan Shahid on his mother's death
Islamabad: Prime Minister Imran Khan has extended heartfelt condolences to actor Shaan Shahid over his mother’s demise.

Taking to twitter, PM wrote, “My condolences and prayers go to @mshaanshahid on the passing of his mother.”

Renowned Pakistani film actress and mother of Lollywood star Shaan Shahid, Neelo Begum passed away on Saturday.
Her death was confirmed by Shaan on his Twitter handle. He wrote. “It is with the saddest of heart I share the departure of my mother as she has gone to her creator .may ALLAH bless her.”
Born in 1940 in Bhera, Neelo’s real name was Cynthia Alexander Fernandes.
The year 1957 proved a breakthrough in her life when she shot to fame after performing on the song "Aaye mausam, rangilay suhanay" in the film Saat Lakh.
In her illustrious career, she worked in more than 130 Urdu and Punjabi films and won several Nigar Awards for her remarkable acting as well as two for the Best Producer and Best Film.
